CISE Welcomes New Administrators

CISE will welcome new Principals and Vice-Principals when classes resume on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Mr Chris Bourre is the new Principal of the CISE Middle School.  After graduating from Laurentian University in 1993, Mr. Chris began his teaching career in Northern Ontario. He spent 12 years teaching in the classroom before being promoted to Principal in 2005. Mr Chris comes to CISE with extensive experience in French Immersion, literacy and student success. When he is not at work he enjoys music, hiking, camping and fishing.  He looks forward to a wonderful year ahead with the staff, students and families at CISE.

Ms. Melanie Seifert is the new Principal of CISE Secondary School. Ms Melanie is a returning Principal to CISE having been at the school previously from 2011 to 2013.  An educator with the Thames Valley District School Board in Ontario for over 25 years, she has extensive experience as an Administrator having spent the past 15 years in various leadership roles.  She thoroughly enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of leading the learning agenda and developing instructional and assessment practices.  Ms. Melanie looks forward to working with staff, parents and students to support, challenge and encourage students to reach their potential.  She is very excited to return to the CISE community. 

Ms. Martha Aziz has been appointed Vice Principal of the CISE Middle School.  An educator in Canada for more than 20 years Ms. Martha taught a wide range of grades before moving to CISE last fall where she taught grade 7. Ms.Matha has extensive curriculum experience and has a specialization teaching English as a Second Language. While working in Canada  she served as a department head at her Secondary School. Ms Martha enjoys traveling, playing squash and taking long walks.  She is excited to welcome CISE students back to class this fall.

Mr Mo Noury has been appointed Vice Principal of the CISE Elementary School.  After graduating from Westfield University with a degree in elementary education 16 years ago, Mr Mo began his teaching career spending nine years teaching in North America before traveling to teach in Dubai and Kuwait.  He has spent the last five years teaching grade five at CISE.  Outside of school Mr. Mo is passionate about traveling and is continuously seeking out new destinations to explore.  As Mr Mo embarks on his new role with CISE he is committed to having a positive impact on the lives of all CISE students and their families.
