Transportation

Please note that NO transportation changes involving students registered for the school bus service can be processed until we complete one full week at school. This policy is to best ensure that bus routes can be monitored and streamlined during the first few days of school, for the benefit of student passengers and their safety and well being.

Students must adhere and follow the directions of the bus monitor at all times, failure to do so will result in serious consequences.

Use of inappropriate language or unacceptable physical behaviour is not permitted on the bus and will result in suspension.

Students are to use the established pickup and drop off points only.

Students are required to stay in their seats and wear the seat belts at all times.

Please make arrangements to ensure that your child(ren) are ready and waiting for the bus at the pick-up time given. Once child’s delay means everyone becomes late. Persistent lateness will result in a phone call to parents and the possibility of access to school transportation being reviewed.

Note That Uber/Careem are not appropriate ways to transport CISE students to and from school. Whist these services might be convenient, school age students should not be accompanied by unknown adults anywhere and it is a safety concern at CISE.
