As you browse through this site you will come to know and understand more about our school and what it means to have a Canadian education in Egypt. At CISE we are focused on helping each student engage in and dedicate themselves to their academic studies to reach their full potential. We remain committed to building the best possible learning environment for our students. Our internationally trained and qualified teachers utilize the same curriculum, instructional strategies, materials and assessment practices as you would find in a modern and effective Canadian school. Our school is Canadian in far more than name. We intentionally strive to create an atmosphere and environment which is distinctly Canadian. Our students are expected to understand and adapt to a Canadian ‘way of things’. This does not mean that we are trying to change students into ‘Canadians’. Rather we are asking our students to embrace their cultural heritage at the same time as they learn from their Canadian teachers other ways of thinking, behaving and growing. Students who graduate from CISE take many things with them. They are awarded a Canadian (Ontario) Secondary School Diploma that is recognized world-wide at top tier Universities and Post-Secondary Institutions. They take with them a repertoire of problem-solving and thinking skills so necessary to personal and work life success. They have acquired well-developed work habits appropriate to the self-directed learner, a focus on the future, self-respect, tolerance, a sense of justice, a global humanitarian outlook and many, many friendships and memories of their time at CISE.
