Our final fund raising activities for the One for You One for Me Campaign will occur this week. On Wednesday and Thursday students will be permitted to be out of uniform to participate in the non-uniform themed dress up opportunity. On Wednesday, the theme is Costume Day. Students are invited to use their imagination and dress up as their favourite celebrities (e.g., cartoon character, Disney character, football legend, movie star, etc.). On Thursday, the theme is Wacky Day. Students are invited to don their craziest, most colourful wardrobe combinations. Students are reminded that whatever their choice in dress up, outfits must be appropriate for school (e.g., no bare midrifs, no spaghetti straps, no tank tops, no short skirts, no tights, etc.)

Each day the cost to participate is 5LE. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to an Orphanage in Maadi. The other 50% will be divided between the Elementary and Secondary Student Council to begin their budgets for the 2012-2013 school year.

In addition to the dress up days, we are having a clothing drive. All donations will be given to the Orphanage as well. We are looking for donations of lightly used clothing, coats, shoes, etc. Boxes will be available in the Main Office area of the Elementary Building and the Secondary Building. This is a great opportunity to clean out those closets before the summer begins.

We look forward to seeing what creative imaginations our students have this week. In addition, we'd like to thank our students and families for their generosity during our various campaigns. Your generosity has been appreciated by many young children. Thank you.
